Colson Kelly, or Machine Gun Kelly is best well-known for his distinctive style he uses to rap. Baker was born in Houston, Texas U.S. on 22nd April 1990, to parents of English Scottish German descent. His parents were missionaries, and throughout his childhood, Baker traveled extensively together. James Colson Baker, his father, struggled with depression as well as unemployment. Baker had released four mixtapes in 2007 through 2010 before signing with Bad Boy Records. With lyrics that were faster than bullet trains, this Cleveland artist saw an explosive climb to fame in the year. The rapper went from releasing self-released cassettes, to signing with labels. After that, his career skyrocketed as each of his albums charted inside the top 10.
